Family-Friendly Sourdough Recipes
Sourdough baking has transcended being just a trend and has become a staple in many households worldwide. This traditional method of bread-making not only results in delicious loaves but also offers a plethora of health benefits due to the fermentation process. At J’adele Bake House, I am dedicated to sharing family-friendly sourdough recipes that are easy to follow and appeal to the whole family! All of my recipes are toddler, baby, and hubby approved :).
Having two children made it challenging for me to resume cooking. Previously, I enjoyed writing and developing recipes for my food blog (A Tasty Mess) as a form of relaxation, but after becoming a parent, it started to feel like a burden. Working with sourdough bread helped me regain a sense of calm and pleasure in my kitchen. With sourdough it MAKES me slow down. I needed this.
Using sourdough discard is another way to minimize waste and get creative in the kitchen. I have recently become OBSESSED with experimenting with my discard, creating all kinds of new recipes – challah, muffins, waffles, quiche, pancakes, even pizza crust! The possibilities are endless when it comes to utilizing sourdough discard in your recipes.
